VHRN Event: "Saint-Lazare as a Women's Prison: 1794-1932."

After its confiscation by the revolutionary government, Saint-Lazare began another long chapter in its history serving as a women's prison until 1932.  The Vincentian Studies Institute is beginning a new "virtual" exhibition series which will take advantage of its extensive collections to mount permanent on-line exhibitions.  The "non-virtual" opening for this "virtual exhibition" is described in the attached flyer, and will take place at DePaul University on 14 April 2011.  On that day the link to the virtual exhibition will also go live and you'll be able to visit it virtually from anywhere in the world. We'll post the link on VHRN and Famvin.
